I was honoured to be named as Category Winner of Contemporary Portrait & GRAND CHAMPION 2019 of all categories @ The Portrait Masters.
Tears were rolling down when I heard my name and my winning image on the big live screen during the Awards Ceremony !
Two beautiful heavy crystal trophies were carefully packed and came all the way from USA !

I’m humbled and grateful to be the recipient of these two precious awards today, because it was my first entering in international The Portrait Masters competition.
There were 6800+ submissions worldwide in July and only 6 images received a Gold Award in The Portrait Masters competition 2019. I’m so honoured that two of my images were awarded with a Gold in Portrait Creative (3rd Place) and Portrait Contemporary (1st Place).
Afterwards I received hundreds of heart-warmed personal messages from professional and renowned photographers worldwide. My heart was filled with so much joy that so many people took the time just to offer me trust, encouragement and support.
This industry from Sue Bryce can be filled with such encouragement and positivity. I am grateful for the great support system I have (locally and internationally).
I’m also touched to hear that my photos have influenced some people’s life in many positive ways. It also simply melts my heart to read that my images moved several people to action or positive change…
For me, the winning image is not only a simple photo, it’s a reminder to myself how I have to live mindfully: We never know what people are going through and each little gesture can be so powerful. So, be kind. Always.
I want to give all these blessings that I was so fortunate to experience.
So, a portion of my receiving prices goes to the “Happy Schools Concept” in Vietnam which I admire really much ! So, they can develop more meaningful learning projects for teachers, parents and children.
The two founders of this concept is Tho Havinh & Lisi Ha Vinh whom I admire from the day I know them in person for more than 15 years ago. They inspire me not only with their words but also through their actions.
